Quality/Test Engineer


Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp., a leader in avionics test equipment for over 50 years, is seeking a person to act as a Quality/Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong TQM and Electronic Test capability and the ability to multi-task in an electronic manufacturing environment, including:

Develop test methods and procedures for production test environment.

                   Including: Test equipment selection
                                    TAR Analysis
                                    Automation Platforms specification
                                    Calibration methods

Maintain quality system including, leading internal audit team, initiate procedure changes, and measuring quality performance.

Initiatives - lean manufacturing, quality evaluations, and continuous improvement projects including; collecting and evaluating data results, creating corrective/preventive solutions in a team environment, and implementing and measuring results.

Program Manager

The Program Manager oversees programs to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinates interdepartmental functions in order to minimize delays; meets with program team members on a regular basis to review program status and plan future actions.

 Additional responsibilities include:

1. Defines resources and schedule for program implementation. 
2. Identifies risks and creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
3. Plans and schedules program deliverables, goals, milestones.
4. Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within group.
5. Performs team assessments and evaluations.
6. Efficiently identifies and solves program issues based on available information.
7. Responds to Requests for Proposals (RFP).
8. Maintains program documentation.
9. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. 
10. Responsible for contract compliance and contract performance.
