Two New Databus Analyzers

TIC Announces The Addition of Two Databus Analyzers to Its ARINC Product Line

Carlstadt, NJ – February 1, 2005 - Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp. announces two additions to its family of FlexiBus ARINC Databus Analyzers, the FB-561 and FB-2V. The FlexiBus product line, introduced in 2004, provides features and capabilities not found in previous hand-held databus analyzers, including loading and unloading of transmitter and receiver parameters using a PC, battery operation in excess of 20 hours, and updating of software via RS-232.

The new products provide testing support for the ARINC 429, ARINC 561 (INS), and ARINC 568 (6-wire DME) digital signals. In addition, the FB-561 and FB-2 provide the ability to vary the voltage levels of the ARINC 429, 561, and 568 signals. The FB-561 provides transmit and receiver capability for ARINC 429, ARINC 561, and ARINC 568 along with ability to vary voltage levels. The FB-2V provides ARINC 429 transmitter and receiver capability identical to the earlier FB-2 but includes the ability to vary the voltage levels of the ARINC 429 signal..

Mr. Charles Palanzo, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, describes the products as “our response to customer demands for support of additional ARINC test capabilities.”
